image generator

I made a couple of movie posters and placed each them in a separate blog. These generators can be very dangerous. I could spend years sitting at a computer making posters, signs, books and so forth, there are so many ideas and so many ways for me to get into trouble. I tell myself, "what would Jessica do?", then I realize what jessica would like me to do, so I do it. If I offend, I don't mean to, unless it is Steve, Brian just wants to have fun. I found the generators very easy to use and hopefully people will not use them for fraud.

I have now figured out how to take photo from Flickr and place it in a blog. Kudos to me.

Flickr

This is a test post from flickr, a fancy photo sharing thing.

don't flickr me off.

Flickr, hate the name, love the idea. My first thought, was about a horse and girl riding the horse for joy and relaxation. I like the idea of taking a photo and allowing others to see it and comment on it. Maybe I haven't look at Flickr enough to see if it changes the photo into the appropiate code for other sites, like myspace. It will allow you to upload photos into your email, which is pretty cool. I have aYahoo email account, so Flickr is handy for my photos. Right now I am a big fan of photobucket. Photobucket has allowed my internet and personal photos on its site [without a limit on how many I can have] and lets me choose the number of photos and it will write the correct html text for the site I want to post the photos onto. After I become more familiar with Flickr and Photoshop I can better compare their abilities to meet my needs on the information highway.

libraries and myspace

I love myspace.com. I am able to communicate with a diverse group individuals with similar interests. I tend to like a variety of people and talk with those who lean towards the strange side of life. For Mrrl being on myspace I believe the library is taking another step towards the future. The information highway is the way to go and any time you can get your message out it is positive. This is a great way to communicate with other libraries and discuss issues. I belong to three library groups: Association of Sexy Librarians http://groups.myspace.com/AOSL, Librarians Rock http://groups.myspace.com/librariansrock, and finally, Libarians are Cool http://groups.myspace.com/librariansarecool, There are many more to chose from and on all of these sites, I have met interesting people and was able to post bulletins regarding library issues. I would recommend that everyone finds a group and get involved. I would like to add some of the Mrrl patrons have notice both my personal site and the library site and both received positive comments.
